Organisations are constantly evolving; they can shrink or grow. There may be a takeover or a merger. Or innovations and a changing market require adjustment.
These are all circumstances in which your organisation must deal with change. Changes that force you, as an organisation, to (again) look for your identity and vision.
Situations can arise in which employees lose sight of the course and lack guidance. You have started change with enthusiasm, but it stagnates because of other priorities.
